Is It Worth Paying for Search Engine Submissions?

Is It Worth Paying for Search Engine Submissions?

In a word, ‘No’. I personally wouldn’t waste my money paying to have any of my new sites submitted to search engines.

Sure, you can go find one of the free services and try them but don’t waste your money on any of the ‘Submit Your Website to 10,000 Search Engines’ services. These services may well get your website listed in the search engines but that’s all they’ll do. Your site won’t be ranked highly and more importantly you won’t be getting any traffic from these listings.

Your time would be much better spent building quality backlinks to your website, which takes time and effort. If you get your link on one quality website - like any of mine for instance  - it won’t be long before your site has been indexed by Google. This process usually takes 1-2 days providing the site gets regular visits from Googlebot.

If you didn’t know already, all the major search engines automatically trawl the web looking for new links. They list those they find without you having to submit at all. If you get your link listed on a site that is trawled regularly then you can be sure to get a listing sometime soon.

Building quality backlinks also ensures that you are much more likely to get a rankings boost on the major search engines. The more quality backlinks the higher your website will climb.

I use primarily Directory and article submissions to build links for my sites.

Directories will give you a link straight from their website in their index which is usually a list of websites organized into categories. I use Directory Submitter to automate this process. Click here to check it out now!

Article submissions to the 100s of article directories online is another way to build one way links to your site. In this instance the links are created in your article resource box. Most article directories will allow you to put a maximum of two links in your resource box or author bio as it is otherwise known. I recommend you link to your main page and one of your internal pages, like your blog.

The strategies outlined above will prove a much better dedication of your time, energy and money than submitting to any free or paid search engine submission service. If there is a SE Submission service out there worth the money I haven’t found it.

Positive Actions Produce Positive Results

Positive Actions Produce Positive Results - In Internet Marketing Too

It has been a fact of my online business life that since getting started online that certain actions produce positive results.

That may not be the most profound statement ever made but it seems to be a concept that is lost on many people.

So, if you aren’t getting enough web traffic to your site then you need to discover ‘why not?’.

If you have installed Google Analytics on your site then you should have a good idea of where your traffic is coming from. If you haven’t installed tracking on your site then you are missing a fundamental aspect of doing business online. Google Analytics won’t cost you a dime and is very simple to impliment so get that on your main page(at least) today.

Once you discover where your traffic is originating then it’s likely you will know what action led to those results. For instance if you look in your tracking logs and find that an article you wrote has sent you 20 visitors this week, then you can mark this action down as a positive action. It isn’t rocket science, is it?

If after blogging for a couple of weeks you find that your traffic has increased by 20% then blogging can be chalked up as a working tactic that is going to bring you more traffic and sales.

Where most people fail online is that they don’t do enough of what work for long enough. Or worse still they don’t ever discover what works and what doesn’t.

It’s amazing the amount of newcomers and even so called ‘pros’ that will pay money for an ad campaign and not track the results.

So here’s my internet marketing equation for today  :

If Discovered Positive Action x 10 = 1 Sale Then Discovered Positive Action x 100 = 10 Sales

Now get out there and get more work done. I think I’ll take some of my own advice

Website Tracking

One Major Benefit of Tracking Your Website Visitors

One highly profitable benefit of tracking my website visitors - besides the ability to know how my current advertising strategies are paying off - is that I can pinpoint areas on the search engines with profitable keyword terms that have little to no competition.

I get many visitors coming from the search engines daily for terms that I have not been specifically targeting.

For instance I may be targeting a keyword term ‘work at home ideas’ and suddenly find some visitors coming to my site for the term ‘computer work at home jobs’. If this is a term that I hadn’t thought of, then I am going to be on that like a shot, discovering more ways that I can profit from these unexpected visitors.

One way that I do this on my blog is to write an article specifically for this ‘unexpected’ keyword term using the keywords in the article. Posting this on the same domain blog where the traffic has arisen tends to boost my rankings for the same term.

 Check out my top blogging strategy here.

When I find site getting a few visitors for a page 2 search term on Google for a keyphrase. A keyword specific article sends my ranking to page one in most cases - depending on the competition for that keyword.

  • order zocor
  • order zyban
  • order zyprexa
  • order zyrtec
  • generic aciphex
  • generic actos
  • generic adalat
  • generic allegra
  • generic altace
  • generic amaryl
  • generic amoxil
  • generic arava
  • generic atarax
  • generic avandia
  • generic avapro
  • generic breast success
  • generic cardura
  • generic caverta
  • generic celebrex
  • generic cialis
  • generic cialis soft tabs
  • generic cipro
  • generic clarinex

  • If you don’t find yourself getting to coveted page one on Google with the keyword specific article. Try writing another article and posting it to the major article databases using Submit Your Article. When you do this make sure to use the targeted keyword phrase as link text in the resource box of your article.

If the first search engine ranking strategy didn’t work then combining it with the above will surely drive your site to the top pages of google for the targeted keywords.

If you are unsure about this then you may want to check out more about article marketing below:

This is just one way that tracking your visitors can bring you profits that you may never have thought of.

My favorite tracking company is Extreme Tracking. I am not an affiliate of this company, I just like their tracking stats best.

    How to Increase Blog Traffic?

How to Increase Your Blog Traffic?

Publicizing your blog is of utmost importance - if it is ever going to be seen online at all.

Great, you have started your blog and have made efforts to add some amazing content that you think the whole Internet world should be reading. If it is never seen though, then your time has been wasted.

The magic thing about blogs - I can only comment on the Wordpress blog platform because that is what I use most - is that each time you make a post and hit the ‘publish’ button, your blog is automatically pinged across around 50 ping websites.

So, even if you do nothing other than make regular posts, eventually your blog is going to be picked up by Google and the other search engines. If the content is keyword targeted then you will start to see some traffic.

Like everything else though, there are BETTER and more effective ways to do things - including getting more web traffic to your blog.

Like all websites including blogs, the more quality incoming links you have coming to your blog the better your search engine ranking is going to be. That’s a fact! The easiest and most effective way I know to get a high number of good quality links coming to my blogs is through article marketing.

So if you are adept at writing articles or are willing to pay for someone to write them for you then get started immediately. The idea is to write an informative article related to your niche market and submit it to multiple article databases. The end of the article will contain your ‘author box’ which will contain a link or two back to your sites.

Instead of submitting to these databases manually which would takes me hours if not days I prefer to use an article submission service, which you can find out more about below:
    Best Article Submission Service

This is a great way to get instant and long-term traffic to your blog.

One method I use has been sending 1000s of targeted visitors to my blogs over the past few months. This method also enables me to achieve top google rankings for many of the keyword phrases I choose to target. You can find more about my blog marketing method at the link below:

  • multi vitamin online
  • neurontin online
  • nexium online
  • nolvadex online
  • norvasc online
  • pamelor online
  • paxil online
  • plavix online
  • pravachol online
  • premium diet patch online
  • prevacid online
  • prilosec online
  • propecia online
  • protonix online
  • retin a online
  • silagra online
  • singulair online
  • soma online
  • super greens online
  • synthroid online
  • tadalis sx online

  • The above blogging strategy can be used on any blog platform, including Wordpress, Blogger, etc etc

Getting traffic to your blog will also depend on how well optimized your blog actually is. At the page above I have included a bonus which include all the best wordpress plugins PLUS detailed instructions - including screenshots - on how to install and use them.

The most important thing to remember when you want to increase the amount of visitors to your weblog is to be consistent in the content that you add. I would suggest to add new content to your blog at least 3 times per week - daily if possible.

I have also found it most rewarding to add UNIQUE content. It is possible to find articles on any topic from sites like Ezinearticles.com, which you can add to your blog.

Although this may be fine to do this occasionally - when your creative juices have dried up and you cannot create your own - I would caution against adding more than a few articles. It is my experience that these articles are added to many sites throughout the web and if Google find your blog is full of ‘duplicate content’ then your blog may be penalized - in terms of it’s overall search engine positioning.

To dicover my best over all blogging strategy which has rocketed my web visitors to number I NEVER believed possible checkout my site below:
