Is It Worth Paying for Search Engine Submissions?

Is It Worth Paying for Search Engine Submissions?

In a word, ‘No’. I personally wouldn’t waste my money paying to have any of my new sites submitted to search engines.

Sure, you can go find one of the free services and try them but don’t waste your money on any of the ‘Submit Your Website to 10,000 Search Engines’ services. These services may well get your website listed in the search engines but that’s all they’ll do. Your site won’t be ranked highly and more importantly you won’t be getting any traffic from these listings.

Your time would be much better spent building quality backlinks to your website, which takes time and effort. If you get your link on one quality website - like any of mine for instance  - it won’t be long before your site has been indexed by Google. This process usually takes 1-2 days providing the site gets regular visits from Googlebot.

If you didn’t know already, all the major search engines automatically trawl the web looking for new links. They list those they find without you having to submit at all. If you get your link listed on a site that is trawled regularly then you can be sure to get a listing sometime soon.

Building quality backlinks also ensures that you are much more likely to get a rankings boost on the major search engines. The more quality backlinks the higher your website will climb.

I use primarily Directory and article submissions to build links for my sites.

Directories will give you a link straight from their website in their index which is usually a list of websites organized into categories. I use Directory Submitter to automate this process. Click here to check it out now!

Article submissions to the 100s of article directories online is another way to build one way links to your site. In this instance the links are created in your article resource box. Most article directories will allow you to put a maximum of two links in your resource box or author bio as it is otherwise known. I recommend you link to your main page and one of your internal pages, like your blog.

The strategies outlined above will prove a much better dedication of your time, energy and money than submitting to any free or paid search engine submission service. If there is a SE Submission service out there worth the money I haven’t found it.

Does Traffic Exchange Advertising Work?

Does Traffic Exchange Advertising Work?

In my experience using Traffic Exchanges to drive traffic to your website does work but not in the straight-forward way of sending the traffic straight to your sales page.

Prospects love to get stuff for free and it’s no different in the world of traffic exchanges.

In order to maximise your results from traffic exchanges you need to setup an email splash page like the one below:
 Traffic Exchange Splash Page

This email capture page entices people using traffic exchange programs to add their name and email in order to get the free download. Sending TE traffic straight to a sales page is not gonna produce much results.

Once you have the prospect in your autoresponder database then you can followup as often as you like.

This is a much better option where you can have countless opportunities to send a prospect to your website whereas if you have added a general webpage to your Traffic program then you only get one chance - usually an unproductive visit.

Positive Actions Produce Positive Results

Positive Actions Produce Positive Results - In Internet Marketing Too

It has been a fact of my online business life that since getting started online that certain actions produce positive results.

That may not be the most profound statement ever made but it seems to be a concept that is lost on many people.

So, if you aren’t getting enough web traffic to your site then you need to discover ‘why not?’.

If you have installed Google Analytics on your site then you should have a good idea of where your traffic is coming from. If you haven’t installed tracking on your site then you are missing a fundamental aspect of doing business online. Google Analytics won’t cost you a dime and is very simple to impliment so get that on your main page(at least) today.

Once you discover where your traffic is originating then it’s likely you will know what action led to those results. For instance if you look in your tracking logs and find that an article you wrote has sent you 20 visitors this week, then you can mark this action down as a positive action. It isn’t rocket science, is it?

If after blogging for a couple of weeks you find that your traffic has increased by 20% then blogging can be chalked up as a working tactic that is going to bring you more traffic and sales.

Where most people fail online is that they don’t do enough of what work for long enough. Or worse still they don’t ever discover what works and what doesn’t.

It’s amazing the amount of newcomers and even so called ‘pros’ that will pay money for an ad campaign and not track the results.

So here’s my internet marketing equation for today  :

If Discovered Positive Action x 10 = 1 Sale Then Discovered Positive Action x 100 = 10 Sales

Now get out there and get more work done. I think I’ll take some of my own advice

3 Way Links

3 Way Backlinking - Automating the Process

One of the best ways to raise your search engine rankings is by finding one way backlinks coming to your website.

I have used this method for years to gain top rankings on Google and the other major search engines.

I used to be a big fan of reciprocal linking but I have found that the effectiveness of linking reciprocally has greatly reduced.

3 Way linking works by setting up a 3 way partnership and working it so that while A may give you a link back to your site, you reciprocate by linking to C. A reciprocal link would work by A linking to B and B linking directly back to A.

Now if I haven’t totally spun your head round with the above description, let’s continue…

I don’t use that many tools to help me get there. Probably 3 at most. It’s usually just a case of hard work and persistence. Yeah, I said ‘work’. Who would have believed that you actually have to move your ass to make it online?;-)

It can be an arduous task to find links manually. Heck, even submitting using software and services can become tiresome. What if there was a way to put the whole thing on auto-pilot? I think I have just discovered one.

I have just signed up for this great program. It comes highly recommended and is going to help me build up many of the links that I need to reach the top of google for my sites.

I don’t know if you know this but I own quite a few niche websites too which shouldn’t be to difficult to push into the top pages of Google. I heard from one guy that using the resource that I am about to show to you alone he as able to get to the top of Google for his niche keyword phrase.

Did tell you that once you set up your account you can leave it to run on auto-pilot? I just love automation so I am in heaven when I can basically plugin and leave.

Right enough, if you want to build over 250 one way links to all your sites then you should get signed up to the program below today:
 Jonathan Ledger’s 3 Way Links

Jonathn Ledgers’ 3 Way Backlinks program costs $47 per month. Sounds like an unwelcome monthly expenditure if you look on it from a purely costly point of view. Wrong way to look at it!

From what I know and have learnt of this program, it won’t be long before I have doubled or tripled that money in commission money from Google adsense alone.

It would only take me to make an extra $5 per month from 10 of my niche sites to cover the costs. I have no doubt that getting 250 quality backlinks coming to my niche marketing sites is going to do this.

It’s important to realize too that Jonathans team carefully scrutinize ALL member sites to ensure the HIGHEST quality. So you are only going to get top class sites linking back. I wouldn’t go near this program if I thought I would be linked to some junk spam site.

3 Way Backlinks is a no brainer, it works and it will help you make back the investment in no time at all.

You can thank me later;-)
