Reverse Funnel System Day 8

No Interest in Reverse Funnel System…Yet!

I continue to promote this program daily through blog posts and repositioning some of the resources on my sites to make way for the Reverse Funnel system.

As of today, I have 109 leads in my system but very little interest. This isn’t unusual. It takes a while for prospects to warm up. I can be confident in the knowledge that the followup responders will do their work.

This could go on for quite a while but I won’t give up. I plan to give this opportunity at least 6 months to a year of my time and resources. If I don’t see some great progress in that time then I will reconsider. If you want to join me on this journey then please get in touch malATmalkeenan.com

I have been in email correspondence today with Stone Evans, my RFS sponsor, who give me some great tips and directed me once again to listen to the training audios from within the training panel. These audios serve at least two purposes. They help motivate the listener - to compel them to action AND they of course give some practical tips on ow to promote this business.

I would be interested to hear from you if you’re already in the system or are interested in joining. Please add your comments below. I know that my posts are drawing the occasional visitors from the search engines so let’s hear from you.

What draws you to the Reverse Funnel System? What are your experiences?

Giving My Home Business Website an Overhaul

Giving My Home Business Website an Overhaul

I’ve spent the best part of 24 hrs updating my home business site.

At this stage of the game I should be outsourcing this stuff but it seems to me sometimes a lot less hassle to just do it myself. I’ve outsourced many times before. I’ve had some good and some bad experiences.

The worst was when a content writer took my dollars and didn’t complete the project. She basically did a runner with my cash

I enjoy updating my sites, most times.

So basically I changed some of the colors, brought the blog of the site more in line, visually, with the rest of the site. Apparently this creates a much more pleasant user experience. Before, when a web visitor clicked from my main page to my blog they got two completely different headers. This isn’t good practice. Now the headers are indentical. Have a look here to here.

I have around 300 articles on this site too which needed to have their surrounding content changed. I accomplished this using Macromedia Dreamweaver which has a handy find and replace tool. You can basically change every file in a folder according to text or source code. Can you imagine having to do these individually?

I also added Blogrush to my blog. This is a free tool for increasing blog traffic - allegedly. It’s free so you might want to give it a try.

I plan to do some heavy promoting on this site in the coming months. I think it’s looking a lot smarter than it was, but then I’m biased  . I’ll keep my eye on Google analytics over the coming days to see if the changes have made a difference to visitor interactivity on the site.

One Time Offer Pages

One Time Offer Pages

I’ve just added one time offers to all my optin forms to try to earn a few extra sales to my clickbank totals.

I haven’t had great success with clickbank in quite a while. If they weren’t so handy with their bi-weekly payments I wouldn’t promote the merchants who use them, at all.

I’m convinced there is a problem with their hoplinks that stops affiliate marketers like me getting paid everytime there is a sale. They deny it of course but I’m not the only one to suspect that there has been something up for quite a while.

Getting back to the one time offers, or OTOs. I just joined a program that will present special priced offers to those opting in to my internet marketing reports and newsletters. Instead of getting the usual confirmation page they will be redirected to the one time offer page where they will be encouraged to signup for a jam-packed package of marketing products.

Here’s a screenshot of the offer:

The reason I opted for the membership signup is that they do everything for me for a cut of the commissions. They put the offers together, sales page, everything. I just have to take my link and put it in the autoresponder web form which then redirects the prospects to the appropriate offer.

Oto Goldmine also offers pages for custom 404 errors, membership site otos and some others. You can get the full details at the link below:

This is actually free to join. For the ree membership you get to create 10 pages. The commissions are lower for free members but you’ll probably not need any more than 10 pages. I only used 3 but signed up for the Premium membership purely for the higher commission cut of 75%.

Oto Goldmine also offer customized OTO packages that range from $19 to $67.

The whole point of the membership is to give you an opportunity to capitalize on web traffic that may otherwise be lost, through 404 errors and optin confirmation links.

It’s well worth a shot.

Email Marketing Hassles

Do You Ever Get the Feeling that No One is Out There?

It’s becoming more and more frustrating trying to get my email marketing message delivered and that’s only the half of it.

Yesterday I had one email probem after another. I’ve been noticing lately that many of my php scripts run sites are half working or not working at all in sending out notifications to members. Well, the scripts are sending the messages but they just aint arriving at their destination.

My free shout box site has not been sending email verification notices since last september so I’ve lost out in about 150 memberships. A couple of my discussion forums are having the same issues too.

Then, an important friend and business associate of mine asks me if I got his email response to a proposition that I had sent him. Nothing had arrived, and even when I gave him two other different email addresses, gmail and a server based email, still nada. What da f*** is goin’ on?

With the current situation, the only time I can get messages delivered with any degree of certaintly is when I use instant messaging functions at forums and membership sites.

For instance, I own a niche market membership site and it is fantastic to send an instant message to all members and know for sure that the next time they log in to their membership they are going to get my message.

It’s got me wondering should I setup a membership site for business opportunity enhusiasts or internet marketing communities. The current membership site I have is a Myspace type system. Is there an interest in a Myspace for marketers, where they can add their own personal pics, interact, and promote their stuff too? I don’t know!

I know one thing. If somebody, somewhere doesn’t come up with a solution to the ongoing spam problems and email delivery, email is going to be dead. It isn’t looking too healthy as it is :???: .
