Blogging Plugins and Internet Marketing

I’ve spent this past couple of hours adding some plugins to my blog.

These include “Recent Posts”, “Popular Posts”, “Subscribe Tags”, and a Post subscription form for those who want to be updated when I make a new post. These can be seen down the right hand side of the page.

I also added a “similars posts” plugin and a utility for visitors to share the posts on my site via social bookmarking sites and also via email. These can be seen at the end of each post.

Some of the plugins downloaded via Alex Kings site. I was so delighted I donated $10 for the privilege(I don’t often pay unless I have to  ). $10 is not a lot but if everyone who downloaded his plugins did the same he would be a rich man. I figure if this guys is going to put the effort in to come out with great additions to Wordpress then it’s the least anyone can do.

These plugins are great Internet marketing tools and should increase search engine visibility, not to mention the overall experience of my visitors through better navigation.

Don’t forget to add your email for post updates.

Now that I’ve added the plugins once, it’s a simple process to transfer them over to my Home Business Tips blog and other sites.

Building on Niches

I did a little work on my niche sites today and registered a couple more domain names through Godaddy.

I registered around 8 domains through Niche Mania a few months ago and did little with them other than upload the sites.

Unbelievably, some of these sites have started to earn me daily dollars. So of course I want to capitalise on that. I plan to write a few articles on the topic of the sites that have started to move and submit them to Article Marketer with keyword text links in the article resource box.

Think about this - Even if a site earns you $2 per day. Some sites earn much more.  - I get one site per week through Niche Mania, which would cost me around $7 plus $10 for the domain name. $17 x 52 = (Need to get the calculator, hold on) $884 spent on the domains and sites. I don’t spend any extra on hosting as I have a dedicated server.

So, 52 sites at $2 per day x 365 = $37, 960. That’s $37,076 profit pe year. Even if you need to take the cost of hositng from this, which is a few hundred dollars per year you are still getting a HEFTY profit.

Am I making this with Niche sites? No, but I’m working towards it and I know people who make much, much, more with Google adsense.

The above scenario is making 1 site per week. I can throw a site up in less than half an hour. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a cinch.

I am not saying that everyone can make this sort of money, obviously not, but it is possible, believe me.

I’ve already written two niche articles today. I took a couple of Private Label Articles I had purchased a while ago and rewrote them. It took me around an hour.

As you may have guessed I’m online every day, not through necessity but through choice. I come on everyday for at least a little while to check emails and the obligatory checking of commissions.

Blog Update and the Likes

I’ve concentrated most of the day on updating some of my blogs with new posts. It’s important to update my blogs every few days at least. The general rule is, the more unique keywords post you have on your blog, the more website traffic it will garner.

It’s so simple in principle you know - not complicated at all.

Set up a website, add content every day or two - Add even one link to an established website so that your pages get indexed - within a shortwhile of doing this you WILL get website traffic. At that point you can decide how you are going to turn that traffic into sales.

Hey it’s simple! BUT who wants to do the work?

The silence is deafening;-)
