So I put the Bum Marketing report to the test by registering a domain name ($8), writing an article and submitting it to Ezinearticles. Guess what? I’m number one on Google for the search term and the title of the article AND I’m already getting website traffic and earnings.

Since last week I have made $5.38 from the site. Now that’s not much, but this is only one article, one search term and one site and ONLY one week. I fully expect the earnings for this site to increase over time. Can you see that the sky is the limit with this type of marketing?

You could easily put together multiples of sites like these per day in an unlimited number of niches.

I actually bought my site through Niche Mania, I wrote a blog post about that the other day.

I’m going to REVEAL this niche site to you just to prove that this does actually work. I don’t care who know my niches anyway. If I can help someone and spare them on to make a few dollars, who give a s&^% who knows my niches. There usually in plain view anyway on my various sites. Believe me, there are 10,000s more markets to be explored.

So below you will see the various screenshots with dates on when the article was submitted and my number one spot on Google PLUS my Google adsense earnings for February, I had to blacken out most of the other Adsense numbers to keep in with their terms of service. Don’t want the big G banning me.

In case you’re wondering why it says Donal Keenan beside my article - It’s my brothers name and I occasionally use his account when I’m submitting articles that are not related to internet marketing. I DO actually have one other pen-name that I use. Fortunately Ezinearticles and the other article submission sites allow multiple pen-names.

Getting back to Bum Marketing, are you going to do something about this? Do you think it is possible for you to write one article, put it one a webpage and submit the article to Ezinearticles? I think ANYONE could do this.

You Cannot Make Money Online Sitting On Your Ass

You won’t earn money online by sitting on your backside in spite of what you may have read on some websites.

IF you don’t have some money to invest then the above is even more true. Without the cash to buy automated tools to make your promotional chores a little easier then you are going to have to put in a lot more work than those who pay for internet software and marketing services.

Take article marketing for example - I pay a monthly fee for subscriptions to two of the most popular online article submission sites. It literally takes me around 5 minutes to copy and paste my article into the online submission form and click send.

Every site the submission services submit to can be done by hand, EVERY one. So shouldn’t I save myself a little cash per month and do them myself? No way, that would be plain stupid. To achieve the same results I get by paying for a service, I would spend days, not hours, submitting to different article databases.

This is true right across the internet marketing arena whether it is article submissions, search engine optimization or building niche websites.

Many people have an unrealistic view about making money online. They are either taken in by the hype or they are living in cloud cuckoo land. Wake up! Business is business whether it is offline or online. You wouldn’t even contemplate going into business for yourself offline unless you had a few thousand dollars to get started and to cover any unforseen circumstances.

You can get a web business up and running at a tiny fraction of the cost that you would pay the ‘real world’. Still, once your website is live, it won’t earn you a cent unless it gets some visitors. You must work to get your site seen if you are ever going to succeed online.

Another point, paying for services will lessen your workload but once the work is done you still have to make an effort. Think about it - Who in their right mind would take your money to do ALL the work for you? If there is any chance at all that the work they do will bring in the bucks immediately then of course they will do it for themselves. Why would anyone take a one off payment if, they can do the work, and get paid forever?

What you don’t pay out of your pocket you will pay in time, IF you are going the free route. Any money made at the beginning should be invested in internet marketing resources or paying for the services that are going to leave your hands free to continue to build your business.

The good news is that every minute I have spent building my web business has been worth it. I can now take days off and generally take things easy but it is ONLY because of the work I have contributed in the past, from I began delving into online business back in 1998.

Some internet marketers could retire now and they would continue to make money from their sites for the rest of their lives, provided they paid their web hosting bills. I haven’t reached those heights yet but I know it is possible because of what I have achieved up ’til now.

If you are truly committed to working towards your goals, making a positive contribution to the building of your internet business everyday then I have no doubt you will reach the heights in internet marketing. If you believe that there are riches to be made without time and effort, at least in the beginning, then please stay in your dayjob.

Starting Up a Home Based Business?

I started back in 1998. I remember wondering would it be possible to actually make money online. I don’t think the idea had ever occured to me before. I can’t remember the exact search terms I used, but I think I typed the words “Make Money from the Internet” into Yahoo(Google hadn’t even been conceived) and came up with some results.

I couldn’t believe it! There were actually people claiming to be making a fortune from there own home based businesses. The first program I ever joined was a ‘Get Paid for Clicks’ program called “All Advantage”. I think the sum total of my earnings for that was around 56 cents

Then the BIG one came, I joined a program called Smallbizffa and made my first sale by spamming the Yahoo classifieds . The first sale netted me $8. I basically went through the listings of all those who had posted an ad and emailed them with my opportunity. Ok before you start building the scaffold, I didn’t know any better and hadn’t even heard or read the word ‘Spam’ at that stage.

Moving swiftly on, the first check I ever received was for $25 or maybe it was $28 from Clickbank and at that point I was absolutely hooked. You will be too once you receive that first check. When that first payment reached my bank account, the ‘idea’ to make money from home had actually become a reality. There was no going back!

I then proceeded to spend $1000s trying to capitalise on my earnings and didn’t really get anywhere, fast. Does that sound familiar?

My first big break came when I joined Stone Evans‘ Plug in Profit Site. I was AMAZED at the concept of this program and in the first weeks actually emailed Stone begging him to let me copy his system. He politely refused! .

So, I was left with no choice but to promote the Plugin Program as an affiliate and that is when I started to earn some real money, and it was residual too. I would get money month after month for a one time effort. Wow!

Stone made me a moderator at his Plug In Profits forum not long after starting his program and I moved from strength to strength. I learnt more in a few months from Stone than I had learnt in years previous to that point, not directly but by following the example set by him and some other successful internet marketers.

Since then I have left my offline job as a hospital clerk and now work full-time from home. It took me around five years in all to get to that stage, mainly because I was running from pillar to post without any sensible direction .

Today, I am able to help others avoid making the mistakes I made. Starting up a home based business is doable when you are given the proper guidance. Without it you may just end up losing everything.
